Note from Marty

By SFSAdmin | June 3, 2008

Overall, it was a good season.  The growth of the team over the past four years has been tremendous.   This year, the boys worked hard, we went further in the playoffs then we have ever gone, and we beat St. John’s.  To date, three of the five schools we lost to are in the final four of their respective divisions.  We played tough and I believe learned alot about ourselves.  I engaged your sons with big words…commitment, sacrifice, accoutability, and they stepped up and persevered through many challenges on and off the field.  I have enjoyed the opportunity and responsibility of working with your sons.  It has truely  been a privelage to be involved with this school and these young men.  I hope everyone involved with this team and this great sport had and enjoyable season.  Please keep a stick in your hands and enjoy your summer.  Please come to the team picnic and lacrosse alumni game June 12th in the stadium.

Unfortunately, there is still some work to be done……

The lockerroom must be cleaned out by the end of the week.  All clothing left will be donated or discarded.  I could also use some help movig the goals off the field.  I will be at the school tomorrow aroud 1pm if guys need to get stuff out of the lockers and could help me move the goals.

Again, thank you for the oportunity to work with your sons.

Tuesday 1st Playoff game

By SFSAdmin | May 24, 2008

From Marty:

The Perrysburg game will be at 5:30pm.

I could use some help setting up the field.  If a couple Dads could show up around 4:30 to put out the felt on the track it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

 THANK YOU TO:

Sue Deckleman    Kathy Klonko   Joni Corbett   Chris Gavin  Paul Muneio  Susan Woodward  for the Concession Help!!!!

TALA Monday and Tuesday!

By SFSAdmin | May 19, 2008

Because Ottawa Hills only has white jerserys we will wear red for our game tonight.  I told the players we would be in white tonight since we’re the higher seed and the home team but, they need to bring their red jersey.

Marty

If we win Monday, we will play the winner of the St. John’s/Bedford game. Game time will be 30 minutes after the prior game (around 8:45pm). Game location will be Central Catholic High School on TUESDAY
